This allows us to contact you if necessary. These details reside in our secure database and will not be used for any other purpose.
Our Use of Cookies
When you access Essential Artwork, we and Google Analytics (used to track how our website is used) may place small data files called "cookies" on your computer.
Members of Essential Artwork are sent a "session cookie" to their computer when they log in to their account. This type of cookie allows us to recognise a member and means that we don’t need to ask for a password on each page. Once the member logs out or closes their browser, this cookie expires and no longer has any effect.
We use long lasting cookies for storing your artwork shortlist in. This means that unless the cookie has been deleted, your shortlist of artwork will be remembered when returning to the site.

The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when using certain features of the site to complete the request you have made only. We do not share this information with outside parties unless that is required by the nature of the request, e.g. tell a friend.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
You can register with our website if you would like to receive our mailing list. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form for signing up.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
Members can opt-in to having their postcode show on the interactive map for finding local artists. If they choose not to use this, their location will be hidden. Your contact details will never be displayed on the site.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Artist credit card details are stored by PayPal and so Essential Artwork has no access to these.
