Description: Original acrylic painting on box canvas; all canvas edges are painted, hence no framing required. White calla lilies set against a soft background of deep blues, greens, mauves and paler yellow-greens with touches of muted orange. The ripple-edged leaves are painted with with glazes of red-purple, magenta and opaque greens; with deeper purples in the shadowed areas. Thicker paint is used for the white flowers, to force a contrast between light and dark. Detail is fairly minimal except for the central spathes of the lilies which are dotted with yellow, orange and green acrylic paint.

Unless otherwise stated, the cost of packing and delivery is included in the artwork price for all UK destinations/buyers.
Normal time for despatch is within 5 to 7 days of receipt of the order.
I offer a 10-day approval period on all artwork sold.
Refunds are given in full (minus the return postage cost), when a purchaser returns the artwork to me in good, resaleable condition following the 10-day approval period; thus if the purchaser pays me £100 total, they will receive £100 as refund. The approval period begins on the day that the purchaser receives the artwork.
Purchasers are advised to retain all packaging until they are happy with the artwork.
Purchasers should advise me if the artwork arrives damaged. It is normally very well packed in double-walled corrugated cardboard containers and is insured. If this should occur, purchasers are asked to contact me to discuss returns/compensation etc. Normally insurance only covers the value of the canvas, not what is on it in terms of artistic value; the responsibility for claiming damages from the delivery company will rest with the artist.
